About
Hi there! Hi! I’m Julia, a New York–based writer and creative with a passion for storytelling, both written and visual. I graduated from Fordham University with a B.A. in Journalism and minors in Marketing and Fashion Studies, and I specialize in content creation, creative production, and brand messaging that’s both polished, entertaining, and personal.
I’ve written features for Untapped New York, contributed fashion coverage to The Ram, and developed blog content for Most Wanted USA, where I also styled campaigns, coordinated shoots, and supported e-commerce strategy. I was also a Junior Account Executive, hosting showroom appointments, scheduling buyer meetings, and fulfilling major retailer wholesale orders on behalf of the brand. When I’m not dedicating those skills to a full time role, I can be found assisting backstage at Fashion Week, pitching interviews with emerging NYC creatives, or furthering my art skills in landscape paintings and detailed charcoal portraits.
I’m also currently developing two blogs of my own; one a sustainability report site with unique angles on the different ways that The United States’ current policies under the Trump administration are altering the sustainability scene, and another on the intersectionality between the evolution of Eastern Asian and Western English dress.
I bring upbeat energy, attention to detail, and an editorial eye to every project.
My freelance reporting currently leans into the joyful, often highlighting exciting events, updating the public with trend reports, and spotlighting passionate city voices shaping culture. My degree, my work history, and my portfolio is varied, reflecting my inability to stand still when there’s an idea worth pursuing or a concept worth creating. Fashion is an industry with so much responsibility towards the world it serves, and I admire any brand brave enough to partake in that, which I hope my dedicated work with brands like Triarchy and participation is university organizations like the Fordham Sustainable Fashion Coalition reflects.
At the end of the day, I love helping brands and publications grow their relationship to their partners and even more importantly, the public. And I do this by telling stylish, smart, and striking stories—weather its in a visual that inspires or a tale that prompts conversation.
